Assalamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
In the current atmosphere of Islamophobia, there is much misunderstanding and deep-seated prejudice against Islam and its Prophet (sas). There are many websites run by bigots and hate-mongers who take perverse pleasure in denigrating the person of the Prophet and his followers.
The vast majority of non-Muslims out there are not acquainted with the personality, mission and legacy of Muhammad (sas).
Here is something we Muslims can do to reverse this tide of ignorance and bigotry. In commemorating the birthday of Muhammad al-Mustafa (sas), let us introduce Rasulullah (sas) to our non Muslim friends, colleagues and acquaintances.
E-mail them an article on our Prophet via: http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/2626/.
Send them a free e-book on the same subject: http://www.islamhouse.com/p/246898.
Share with them educational videos: http://thedeenshow.com/show.php?action=listvideo&sid=64.
Download them into your blogs, Facebooks, etc. Let the non-Muslim world be thoroughly exposed to the marvelous beauty of Islam.
Having done all that, make lots of doa that their hearts would be softened and receptive to the message of Ad-Deenul Islam, the true religion of Jesus, the son of Mary (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them).
