The virtues and sunnah of Jum’ah

 

Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam Said:

((خير يوم طلعت فيه الشمس يوم الجمعة؛ فيه خلق الله آدم، … وفيه أدخل الجنة، وفيه أخرج منها، ولا تقوم الساعة إلا في يوم الجمعة))

“The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Allaah created Aadam. On it, he was made to enter paradise, on it he was expelled from it. And the last hour will take place on no day other than Friday”.

(Ahmad & Tirmidhi)

So, let’s make our Jum’ah today better than last Jum’ah….Till then..

He is Allah, the Creator, The Shaper out of naught, the Fashioner. His are the most beautiful names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. (59:24)

As children, we were taught to memorize and cherish the Beautiful 99 Names of Allah. But do we really know our Lord? Have we truly learned to appreciate Allah’s Sovereignty and Absolute Perfection?

Nasihat pensyarah saya dulu, kalau nak mohon untuk sambung belajar, lebih baik apply awal sebelum keputusan final exam keluar kerana lebih kurang persaingan dengan pelajar-pelajar lain. Anda boleh memohon menggunakan CGPA semester anda yang paling latest. Boleh juga dapatkan borang dari kaunter IPS. Dah lupa berapa harga borang. Tapi total borang + yuran proses RM70. Tak taulah kalau sekarang ni dah naik harga lagi.

Penceramah jemputan adalah Sheikh Tariq Appleby. Beliau dilahirkan di Cape Town, Africa. Mempunyai campuran bangsa Melayu, India dan Inggeris. Seorang graduan Universiti Madinah.
